I was perusing Joy and JP's BMI listings to see if there's any unfamiliar song titles they wrote together...I found "Teresa" and "You're My Favorite". Do you think these could possibly be new songs from the album? Also "Oh Henry" is listed. And do you think maybe polished versions of "Marionette" and "Goodbye Girl" could be on there as well? Just wondering what your thoughts are :)

This piece is based on a song called Kingdom Come, by the Civil Wars. It’s such a freaking beautiful song oh my gosh. I wanted to find a song to illustrate and lo and behold that was in my recommended youtube feed. This is probably one of the first things I’ve ever drawn where it came out pretty much exactly how I imagined it. So I’m very happy with this. :)

This is a 15 minute segment of Joy and John Paul giving tiny descriptions of every song on their album Barton Hollow and I really suggest you watch it.

It just gives the songs so much more background and intimacy and I fucking love it.
I love music so much.
